Ruth Jackson opened Jackson Family Law in 1996.  Since that time, Jackson Family Law has become one of the most respected family law firms in Kentucky.  

Ruth lives in Northern Kentucky with her husband Bob and two labs named Sadie and Sammy. Ruth has called Northern Kentucky home for over 30 years and believes it to be a great community  to raise a family and foster lasting friendships. 

Ruth and her husband have raised two successful adult children who graduated from the University of Kentucky and The Ohio State University.  The family enjoys rooting on both the University of Kentucky Basketball and Ohio State Football programs.

A Leader In Collaborative Law & Collaborative Divorce

Ruth is the leader in Collaborative Law and Collaborative Divorce in Kentucky.  Ruth organized and established the first training in Collaborative Law for Kentucky lawyers in 2002.  The Collaborative Law Process has extended from Northern Kentucky to Louisville in 2005 and has since extended to Bowling Green.  

The Collaborative Law Process works outside of the traditional court system.  It follows your timeline for reaching resolution versus a court’s timeline. This means your divorce will not be dictated by the court’s calendar  and the judge’s availability to determine your future.
